So i came up with the idea to ground mount the antenna using a push up pole. It s not all ham radio. Note also the footing that protects his roof from the legs of the mini tower. I am limited into the method for mounting one and have as an option to mount a short mast to a direct tv mount on the roof.

A thrust bearing is a device that supports all the weight of the mast and beam and allows the mast to rotate freely so the work and weight on the rotator is minimal.
